UXB is a small-batch skincare company based in west London. Every product is personally formulated and handmade by our founder, Simon Driscoll — not a marketing team, not a white-label factory, not an algorithm.
Most skincare is built backwards.
Big brands start with a marketing trend, then engineer a product to match it. Whatever ingredient is trending on TikTok this month gets slapped on a label, padded with fillers, and sold at a 20x markup.
We do it the other way round.
Every UXB product starts with a problem — oily skin, dull complexion, damaged skin barrier — and then we go looking for the ingredients that have the strongest evidence of actually solving it. Sometimes that means centuries-old ingredients like rice milk, used by Japanese geisha for generations. Sometimes it means clinical actives like l-ascorbic acid at therapeutic concentrations. Often it means both, working together.
We don’t chase trends. We chase results.

Simon formulates and makes every product himself in our London studio. There’s no factory, no outsourcing, no corner-cutting.
This means we can do things big brands can’t — like making our Vitamin C serum fresh every Wednesday so it reaches your skin at peak potency. Or formulating our Sulphur & Lactic Acid Mask with a 3-step exfoliation process that uses sulfur, lactic acid, and pineapple enzymes together, because the right combination of ingredients will always outperform a single “hero” active on its own.
We think of our products as recipes rather than formulas. A great recipe doesn’t just throw one ingredient at you — it layers flavours so the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Our skincare works the same way: every ingredient has a job, and they’re chosen to work together.
